Aboyne Golf Club has a thriving junior section.  We have formed close ties with Aboyne Academy and its feeder primary schools where we coach pupils to take up golf. This encourages our young people to live more active outdoor lives and address some of the 'wellbeing' issues affecting their generation as well as giving pupils a range of 'life skills' associated through playing golf.

Over the years Aboyne Golf Club has played its small part towards achieving these national objectives.  We have nurtured youngsters who have gone on to compete at a regional and indeed national level and won various golfing titles.  Moreover, some of our youngsters have gone on to take golfing scholarships in the USA and are starting to pursue professional careers in the golfing industry.
