The clubhouse completed in the early 1980’s has views from it’s panoramic windows which are best described as stunning.
It looks out on the most impressive forests and moors of the northern valleys of the River Dee. The Aboyne Castle and grounds lie to the West of the golf course, whilst to the East lies the picturesque Aboyne Loch. The views are completed to the North with the austere hills and to the South by the village of Aboyne. The clubhouse is literally surrounded by the ‘best in class’ scenery.
It is the place to sit and while away a few moments whilst contemplating that holed or missed putt. The clubhouse
The club is fully licensed and in common with golf clubhouses across the land supplies food and snacks to order.
The balconies offer further priceless views and al fresco dining in the better weather.
Adequate locker rooms with changing and showering facilities are housed on the ground floor and the Secretary’s office is located opposite the Professionals Shop. A visit is strongly recommended.
To the east of the clubhouse lies the picturesque Loch of Aboyne where an Osprey is often seen circling the loch searching for fish. The loch also has the caravan park on it’s banks, to the north lie austere hills with an abundance of wild-life. The estate of the Aboyne Castle lies immediately to the West of the course whilst Aboyne village is due south from here.
An enchanting location to view nature.
